Job Title - Security Service Engineer
Location - Birmingham
Salary - £32k - £38k DOE + Company Vehicle / Overtime paid
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Security Service Engineer to join our clients growing team to support them.
You will install, maintain, and service intruder alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, and access control systems – delivering top-notch work with a focus on customer satisfaction. You'll manage your own workload, diagnose faults, and keep systems running smoothly in line with all standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Service and install a variety of security systems (IDS – Galaxy, IP CCTV, Fire Alarms, Access Control)
- Diagnose and fix faults quickly and effectively
- Provide expert advice and excellent customer service
- Take part in our standby/call-out rota
The ideal candidate will need:
- 3+ years’ experience in security or electrical systems
- Strong skills in CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
- A full UK driving licence
- A "can-do" attitude and a passion for problem-solving
