Job Title - Service & Maintenance Engineer
Location - London and surrounding areas
Salary - £35k - £40k DOE
Working hours - Monday to Friday 8am to 5.00pm - Over time paid after 8 hours

Role Summary
The Fire & Security Service & Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for conducting preventative, reactive, and remedial works across a range of domestic and commercial properties to a consistently professional standard. You will be a key part of a growing and ambitious team, ensuring the delivery of safe, compliant, and efficient systems for clients throughout London and its suburbs.
Key Responsibilities
Professionally deliver maintenance and service works on integrated electronic fire and security systems, in line with current regulations and standards.
Conduct small works and repairs across domestic and commercial sites.
Maintain accurate asset logs and records of all on-site equipment.
Manage your daily workload independently, ensuring timely completion of all assigned jobs.
Communicate and report effectively to the office team daily.
Engage directly with clients, maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.
Knowledge & Experience Required
Strong technical understanding of fire and security systems and relevant British Standards.
Recognised qualifications such as NSI, LPCB, or City & Guilds.
Proven ability to conduct preventative maintenance to current standards.
Excellent customer service and people skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Previous experience working with CCTV and Access Control systems is essential.
Additional experience with Entrotec or fire alarm systems is highly advantageous.
General Requirements
Previous experience within the construction industry and in Fire & Security systems.
Must have a clean criminal record and be able to pass a CRB / DBS check and full industry screening process.
