Job Title - Security Service Engineer
Location - Liverpool
Salary - £32k - £38k DOE - Plus Paid Overtime - Company Vehicle - Standard working hours - 40 hours per week
About the Role
Our client is a leading provider of integrated security solutions with a strong reputation for excellence, innovation, and reliability. They deliver bespoke systems across the UK, protecting critical infrastructure, commercial sites, and public spaces. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled and proactive Security Service Engineer to join their team.
You will be responsible for:
- Installing, maintaining, and servicing security systems including intruder alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, and access control.
- Managing and prioritising your own workload to meet service and installation deadlines.
- Diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and replacing components as needed.
- Completing all documentation accurately and in line with industry standards.
- Providing exceptional customer service and expert advice in a professional, approachable manner.
- Participating in the standby and call-out rota for urgent service needs.
Ideal Candidate
You are a dependable, customer-focused professional who takes pride in high-quality work and thrives in a dynamic environment. You will have:
- Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in the electrical or security industry.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience installing and servicing access control, CCTV, and fire alarm systems.
- Experience with IDS – Galaxy, IP CCTV, and other modern security technologies (advantageous).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
- A proactive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.

- Strong technical knowledge of IDS – Galaxy, IP CCTV, fire alarm, and access control systems.
- Ability to diagnose and repair faults quickly and efficiently.
- Professional and customer-focused approach.
